Magnetic properties off all types of magnets are affected by temperature. Basically, higher temperature causes magnetic field to weaken.

As a rule of thumbs, maximum operating temperature is a good start when designing a new magnetic application that should withstand some heat during its operation, but sometimes it is necessary that the magnet will have quite similar magnetic field and properties in a quite larger range of temperature or in other words will have less affect while the temperature is rising (low temperature coefficient).

NdFeB magnets for higher temperatures also have lower temperature coefficient, roughly up to 50% better than regular grade neodymium magnets. The way we use the magnets and its shape also affects his properties under higher temperature.
